You work with the partner from day one. The whole reason this firm exists is that owners are tired of being handed off to associates. We extend the same standard to our team — you're trusted with real client work, not run through a 3-year apprenticeship.

Vertical depth, by design.

We hire people who own a vertical. Construction job-cost accounting. Church fund accounting. Public-company SOX. Family-office K-1 production. We don't ask you to know all of them — we ask you to know one of them deeply, and to be curious about the others.

Founding-team stage.

Joining in 2026 means you're employee #1–#5, not #50. The character of the firm is being set right now and you'll set it. The partners came from senior CFO, controller, and BD seats with 150+ combined years — they're investing that depth in you, not the other way around.

How we work.

Comp: Mix of W-2 and partner-track. Specifics are conversational — we'd rather talk about what fits your stage than publish a band that's wrong for you.
Location: Texas-based firm (Dallas). Hybrid by default — clients are everywhere, partners and senior staff travel as needed. Junior staff can be remote with documented overlap hours.
Pace: Real client work from week one. We don't have intern coffee runs. We do have weekly partner reviews, monthly all-hands, and a calendar that respects busy season.

Do you have specific open roles right now?
Not posted ones. We're a 5-partner firm just out of the gate. We're listening for senior people who fit our verticals; if there's a match we'll find a way.
What's the comp?
Conversational. W-2 + partner-track for senior people. Hourly for project-based engagements. We'd rather hear what stage you're at than publish a band that's wrong.
Do you offer benefits?
Standard health/dental/vision once we're 5+ FTE — currently building toward that. 401(k) match planned for year 2.
How long does the process take?
First conversation within a business week. From there to offer is typically 2–3 weeks: phone screen → vertical-specific technical conversation with the partner who owns that practice → references → offer.
